Funny commercials from the Netherlands, translated and subtitled by myself. The commercials are from a series called “de Maatschappij: dat ben jij” or “Society: that is you.” I have tranlated this as “Society is you and me” to maintain the rhyme scheme. Also I apologize for taking a few liberties with the translation, it was only done to make the humor more appealing to a wider audience. We don’t have a lot of trolleys in America. Except in San Francisco. Enjoy!

Tim moet een plas.
Waar moet een plas?
De plas moet in ‘t potje.
Tim ziet geen potje.
Tim is dronken.
Tim plast tegen de fiets van Jet.
Dat lucht op!

Wim is in het park.
Daar komt Els.
“Wil je neuken?” Vraagt Wim.
Els loopt door.
“Kapsonestrut!” Roept Wim.
Els is stom.
Wim is stoer.

Mies zit in de tram.
Daar komt Oma.
“Mag ik daar zitten? Ik ben oud en een beetje moe.”
“Optiefe, ouwe graftak!” zegt Mies.
Oma moet huilen.
Mies is blij.
Nu kan ze lekker blijven zitten.
