www.bbc.co.uk Russell Howard returns with the hit show whose debut run was the most requested BBC Three programme on iPlayer in 2009 and the channel’s most successful studio-based entertainment show ever. With each episode put together just days before transmission there’s no knowing what will feature, but the series will see Russell turn news-junkie once again as he puts his spin on the week’s headlines, as well as highlighting some of the more overlooked stories that have caught his eye as he sifts through the papers, news websites and TV news channels. In this clip, he discusses some viewer suggestions for stories.
www.bbc.co.uk More on this programme: www.bbc.co.uk This spring, multi-award-winning stand-up comedian Frank Skinner returns to BBC Two with a brand new topical comedy series, Frank Skinner’s Opinionated. Each week, Frank is joined by two fellow comedians and, most importantly, a studio audience, to unpick the week’s most talked-about news stories. The show tours the country stopping off in Belfast, Norwich, Manchester, Glasgow and London. As with any topical show, it is impossible to predict the news stories that will have us all gossiping around the coffee machine, but expect the big stories on our newspaper front pages, websites, radio stations and TV news shows to jostle for position on the Frank Skinner’s Opinionated floor. This week Frank is joined by Miranda Hart and Al Murray. The show comes from London.
