Rap has the same characteristics. People seem to forget that voice and rytmth can be considered an instrument. That’s what rappers do, they stimulate our senses through their voices and lyrics.

Your interpretatiion of music is very basic, simplistic…
Music is a form of expression, sentiments, and with harmony and rhythm, applying an instrument. Bach is great, its ing great, but hey! His music was so mathematical that it seemed to be cold, without feeling and most of all, without a message. It’s music, nevertheless. It still represents a time in history, it stimulates our senses.
