Trust me, the older …
Trust me, the older you get, the more years you want – and always at the health level that you remember as your prime.
It’s like the movie “The Straight Story” Alvin was asked: “What’s the hardest thing about growing old?”
He says: “Remembering when you was young”
I saw two parents die from smoking related disease (one from cancer; one from stroke), and it’s not a good way to end.
I would bet that if any of the above had it to do over again, they would not have continued smoking. JC said so

Love your clips but …
Love your clips but hate the fact that the Pontificating Pleasure Police (how’s that for alliteration?) use these classic clips to get up on their soap box to promote their agendas. Let’s just enjoy these great talents.

How is something in …
How is something in ’69 a “70′s Classic”?
July 6th, 2009 at 3:37 pm
And why is it that …
And why is it that anyone would WANT to live to be 100?
July 6th, 2009 at 3:37 pm
Did you notice the …
Did you notice the people NOT smoking? Judy Carne, Bob Hope, Doc, Ed – Judy and Doc are still alive, Ed just died at 86 and Bob lived to 100… The smokers all died younger -
Johnny, George, Dean, Buddy Rich…

For real. Lighten …
For real. Lighten up Francis.

I doubt it. Dean …
I doubt it. Dean was never drunk when he was onstage. But George was a bit tipsy here. He loses his train of thougt on the jokes several times. I know a comic that was Gobel’s opening act. George, between shows would have a tumbler of Scotch that he’d mark — like a measuring cup — so he’d know how much he could drink between shows.

Lighten up. What …
Lighten up. What does your wonderful Italian heritage have to do with it? Dean and George were best of friends, on and off camera. It was all in fun.
July 6th, 2009 at 3:37 pm
Do you think dean …
Do you think dean is really drunk, or is it just his best performance ever?
July 6th, 2009 at 3:37 pm
That was a running …
That was a running gag with Dean and
“Lonesome George”.
George Gobel died from complications
of heart bypass surgery just like my Dad
did.
People think that operation is SAFE,
but it’s DANGEROUS!
If there’s any way to avoid it, like
changing your diet and exercise
DO IT!
Heart bypass can kill you.
Great vid 5 stars, thanks

I always love Dean …
I always love Dean Martin but when he flicked his cigarette ash in GB drink. I wished George would of taken his drink and throw it in Deans’ face. I am a full blooded Italian and I have never forgotten this show from when it was first aired. What Dean did was degradeing to a good man. Not FUNNY.

Smoke em while you …
Smoke em while you got em, and enjoy this clip before the You Tube goons remove it. So many classic clips have been taken down, while so much crap remains.

Here is the last part of that classic show – I just found it!
It’s only 4 min long, but it was the perfect nightcap for this show.
Cheers!
