    I'm not sure, but it seems like some of the Irish promotes the idea of alcoholism. I say this because I see a lot of Irish pride t-shirts with an Irish man or a leprechaun holding a mug of beer. I am not however, in any way insinuating that Irish people are alcoholics.

    Plus, if you consider that a double standard, answer this:
    Why is it ok that White people get to talk about illegal immigrant, but you never hear Native Americans talk about it?

    Hey guess what, I happen to be part Irish, part native american .I am also a recovering alcoholic. I can still only speculate. I know that native Americans have big trouble with alcohol, it is genetic. We generally just lose our freakin minds! Most Irish seem proud of our drinking abilities and are somewhat tolerant to the effects of alcohol also genetic. I am only 1/16 native American so I really don't take things personal. Making fun of Native americans is like making fun of bald eagles, there really aren't that many left!
